Stream with Planning Center Publishing

Planning Center Publishing is a service that creates custom apps or web pages for your use. A paid plan is available within Planning Center Publishing which allows embedding live streams using a feature called “sermons” which contain “channels,” “series',” and “episodes.” Episodes host and play back live-streamed content, which can include a Resi embed code. You can link episodes within a group called a series.

When using a recurring schedule within Resi, the best integration with Planning Center Publishing is to set up weekly “episodes,” using the same stream URL. Read Planning Center Publishing’s documentation to learn more about their platform.

Set up an Episode within Planning Center Publishing

In order to use Planning Center Publishing with Resi, you will need a script tag from the web channel you're using.  Once you find your script tag, paste it into Planning Center Publishing as instructed on their website. 

Timing within Planning Center Publishing

Each channel has a setting that provides a countdown timer before each episode. This allows viewers to access and load the page that the stream will appear on at a certain interval prior to the start time of the episode. However, videos within Planning Center Publishing are not viewable until the episode start time.
