Manage Your Media

  • Updated

In Studio, Media is where you can and manage all your content. It has five sections:

  • Library. If you’ve subscribed to Resi’s Content Library, the library is where you’ll find your stored content. You can store videos indefinitely up to your storage limit. To learn more about Content Library, see Resi Content Library.
  • Web Videos. Videos you’ve broadcasted to destinations (web, social media) will appear here. You can save to the library, view, download, and trim them until they expire.
  • Encoder Videos. When your encoder is powered on and capturing from this tab.
  • Playlists. You can display saved videos to your audience in a format that is sequential or grouped by topic. Learn more
  • Recently Uploaded. This shows which videos you’ve uploaded recently, when they were uploaded, and their status.

You can upload videos to the library or as an encoder/web video as well. Click Upload Video in the top right corner, choose the video source, and you’ll be able to upload your video as long as it meets the file requirements.

When you remove an event or any video, it's gone and irretrievable. Resi cannot restore a deleted event.

Manage Your Library

If you have a Content Library subscription, all your saved content will be in this section and remain indefinitely until you delete it. Each video will have its own embed code and stream URLs you’ll be able to use to stream the content via your website or application. You can sort your saved videos by clicking the dropdown in the top-right: Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 12.47.13 PM.png

We recommend having your audio channels peak in the yellow zone. If the signal pushes too loud, YouTube may normalize it after the broadcast ends to match their audio standards. Adjust the volume settings with your setup until you reach the desired dB level.

You cannot access audio meters in the Apple Safari browser. Use Chrome, FireFox, or Edge.

Playlists

Playlists give you more control over how you present your content to your audience. You can display library videos to your audience in a format that is sequential or grouped by topic.

This feature requires a Content Library subscription. Learn more. Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 1.42.59 PM.png

How playlists work

You can create a playlist from one or more library videos. Playlists are embedded in a web page the same way you would embed a video from Resi.

Embedded playlists default to display the first video in the playlist. Users can click the playlist icon in the upper right corner of the video player to view all the videos in the playlist. Users can also click the Next icon to skip ahead to the next video in the playlist.

Playlists can include a maximum of 100 videos. We recommend that you group videos into playlists by topic, series, or by a limited date range. Playlists with a large number of videos may be difficult for your viewers to navigate by requiring an excessive amount of scrolling to find content. (You can also embed more than one playlist in a page.). Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 1.43.04 PM.png

Learn more about creating, editing, and using playlists.

Recently Uploaded Videos

Any videos you’ve recently uploaded will appear in the Recently Uploaded Videos section. You’ll be able to see the video names, when they were uploaded, last updated, and their status. Screen Shot 2023-01-26 at 1.44.25 PM.png
