Add, Edit, or Remove a Venue

  • Updated

In Studio, licenses for decoders are referred to as venues. Your decoder will need to be licensed as a venue to access videos from your encoder. Venues can be managed in Studio at Settings > Venues & Decoders

Venues require a multisite subscription. To make changes to your subscription or add a venue, please contact your Customer Success Manager or our sales team.

Add a Venue

  1. In Studio, navigate to Settings > Venues & Decoders
  2. Click+ Add Venue in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select the license type you want to assign to the venue.
    • Non-production- This is typically for a decoder at your broadcast location that you can use to see exactly what your encoder is sending to your additional locations. Video from decoders using a non-production license will display a Resi watermark.
    • Production- Production licenses should be assigned to the venues that your encoders at your other locations will use.
  4. Create a username and password for your venue. You’ll use these credentials when you set up your decoder.
  5. Select which encoder channel(s) you would like this venue (and associated decoder) to have access to.
  6. Click Addadd_a_venue.png
