The schedule in Studio automatically adjusts your broadcasts to coincide with daylight savings. This means that if you live in an area that abides by daylight savings time, your schedule will automatically move an hour forward or backwards at 2:00 am, depending on the time of year you create a schedule, in order to keep your broadcast times consistent. For areas that do not abide by daylight savings, the schedule automatically adjusts to coincide with the time zones set in your scheduled broadcast.
For example:
- Let’s say it’s Saturday March 11, 2023 and you are creating a scheduled broadcast from your main campus in Colorado (which abides by daylight savings).
- The broadcast is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, at 11:00 am local time.
- At a remote site in Arizona (which does not abide by daylight savings) the time on the decoder event will be adjusted to show as having a 10:00 am start time.
