Resi hardware comes with a limited 1-year limited warranty that is meant to cover manufacturing defects, damage caused during shipping, and other such issues. Refurbished hardware is also covered by this same 1-year warranty. Replacement hardware for RMA devices will be covered through the remaining warranty period of your original purchase (e.g. if your encoder’s warranty period is from 1/1/23-12/31/23 and you have it replaced on 6/1/23, your replacement encoder will be covered for the remaining 6 months).
The warranty does NOT cover accidental damage caused to the hardware through improper use, mishandling, electrical power surges, etc. If you would like more information about what the Warranty covers, you can read over section 5, Limited Warranty, of Resi’s Master Service Agreement.
